Dr. Kolb regularly seemed rushed during my appointments, and many of my questions remained unanswered. We were not provided with a copy of our file, and many of my questions went unanswered (including why we didn't get a particular test that would have been helpful for my understanding).
Dr. Kolb was knowledgeable, patient, and responsive by phone during the treatment process, but we would have preferred having more face-to-face time with him at the beginning of the process to ensure that we had all of our questions answered about the process.
Dr. Kolb has a tendency to come across as somewhat cocky, but it’s to be expected given his wealth of knowledge and experience. He knows his craft. He is very straight forward with his diagnosis and treatment. He’s reserved and has no problem admitting when
I felt comfortable performing my care with Dr. Kolb. He was forthright and honest with me, which I really appreciated. He also personally called me after my transfer to congratulate me, which was really nice.

The first time we visited Dr. Kolb we were pretty sure we had only a 1% chance of conceiving. We were given the impression from other doctors that my husband and I did not have a good chance of conceiving naturally due to health issues. Dr. Kolb provided us
Dr. Kolb approached the infertility process with great consideration for my ideas about treatment and was willing to add or change plans as necessary. He made great recommendations, and is always willing to answer questions and discuss treatment options.
"Dr. Kolb had a very low-key approach. I was nervous and not very chatty, so I appreciated him asking me a few questions to help me feel more comfortable. It was nice that he was not pushy or overly talkative, but he was definitely attentive.
"I am currently under Dr. Kolb and have been so since my diagnosis with PCOS. I’ve been seeing him for about 5 years now and he has been nothing but wonderful. He’s always super friendly and easy to talk to. He’s always
Dr. Kolb is a conservative doctor in his approach. He is really open to the idea of single embryo transfers and believes that is his goal. He really wants to do AT LEAST one cycle with NO more than two embryo transfers. He is really a very nice person which I liked
